    Hey singers!

Today’s episode talking about how to get that chesty sound in the head voice.  Even if you’re not there yet, remember to use your upper range as often as you can.  This will build up that part of your range, so that you won’t feel the need to push or strain in your chest voice.  Eventually you’ll develop a mixed voice (passagio) that will be strong and healthy.  But it’s gonna take practice and exercise (warmups), just like learning anything else.  Sara is planning on doing many more episodes with attention to building up the mixed voice range, as this is a problem for EVERY singer!

Sara, thank you for the videos!!! I really want to learn how to make  a growl sound. I have been trying so many times to learn it but succeeded may be 3 times. Can you describe with words what exactly a singer should do with a voice to get this punchy sound?

        Thanks!
