Ep. #17 How to get to that chesty sound…

Hey singers!

Today’s episode talking about how to get that chesty sound in the head voice.  Even if you’re not there yet, remember to use your upper range as often as you can.  This will build up that part of your range, so that you won’t feel the need to push or strain in your chest voice.  Eventually you’ll develop a mixed voice (passagio) that will be strong and healthy.  But it’s gonna take practice and exercise (warmups), just like learning anything else.  Sara is planning on doing many more episodes with attention to building up the mixed voice range, as this is a problem for EVERY singer!
